THE HOTEL
Piccolo Feudo hotel is comfortable silence, guaranteed by its strategic location: it is in fact in the historical centre, a few steps away from the main cultural and commercial places, but in a secluded street, away from traffic. Piccolo Feudo is also warm and cozy light, coming in from the wide glass window in the entrance, which enhances every design detail of the hotel, the shared spaces and the rooms, in perfect industrial style, including the gardens and the spacious terrace on the first floor.
THE ROOMS

Four comfort rooms, free from architectural barriers, are located on the ground floor, next to the bar and the gardens, while the other seven rooms are on the first floor, accessible through an elegant winding staircase.

SANLURI
Halfway from Cagliari and Oristano, in the heart of the Medio Campidano area, Sanluri has always been a town of strategic importance, since ancient times: it is not by chance that right here, among these luxuriant valleys, was developed a thriving feudal centre, that inspired our hotel’s name. The walls and the castle are still visible to this day, and once every two years* “Sa battalla” takes place: the bitter historical reenactment of the battle against the Spanish -June 30th, 1409- which put an end to the independence of Sardinia.
OUR SUGGESTIONS
Castles, churches, museums, WWF oasis, nuraghe and Roman thermal baths: all of this is a few minutes away from Piccolo Feudo. Go through the arch and start discovering the treasures of Sanluri and Medio Campidano.
Castle and museum of Risorgimento (Italian Unification)
The medieval castle of Eleonora d’Arborea, from 1365, is the last inhabitable castle in Sardinia: inside there are rooms decorated with 17th century furniture, a collection of wax sculptures from the 16th century and the rich Risorgimento Museum of Duca d’Aosta, with antiquities from World War I and even a uniform from Garibaldi’s era, the only one in the whole island.
Only 10 minutes walking.
House of the bread
Casa Villasanta, which once hosted the olive oil mill, today hosts the Casa del Pane, the house of the bread, an innovative museum about wheat production and the baking of the typical Sanluri bread, the civraxiu. Opened in 2017, it displays in a minimal way and with a great impact the knowledge of the tradition, but keeping an eye on the experiential factor.
Only 5 minutes walking.
Church of Nostra Signora delle Grazie
Built between 1776 and 1794 on the remains of an older 16th century church, it displays late baroque stylistic lines, with Ionic capitals and a Piedmontese style decor. The great central door and the two side doors with exquisite moulding are impressive to admire. Inside, you can see Sant’Anna retable, a polyptych from the late 1500s.
Only 7 minutes walking.
Thermal waters, Sardara
An important town in Medio Campidano, Sardara is famous for the presence of the Santa Maria Acquas thermal baths, in the locality of the same name, surrounded by a forest of Eucalyptus trees. Used especially during Roman times, the thermal baths work with water springs that gush out with a temperature of over 70 degrees. Nowadays, there are two hotels where you can enjoy it.

Convent of the Capuchin friars
Located on top of a small hill, the perfect setting for a place of retreat and rest, the convent of the Capuchin friars dates back to the XVII century. The adjacent cloister still hosts the cistern that used to collect rain water during the wet season.
